23 Jan FREE SCREENING EXAM FOR OVER 60 YEARS OF AGE IN THE BRUSSELS-CAPITAL REGION

Many cardiovascular diseases can be prevented by intervening in time. Prevention can save lives. It is also the case with a local dilation of the abdominal artery or a narrowing of the carotid artery. If left untreated, these conditions can be fatal. This is why UZ Brussel invites those over 60 of the 19 municipalities of the Brussels-Capital Region to be screened for free for these conditions.

After registration, participants will be contacted for fix an appointment
The exam lasts approximately 30 minutes

Purpose of screening
By screening for these two conditions, the Center for Cardiovascular Diseases intends to better identify their frequency and the people they affect. Based on the findings of this prevalence study, new policy recommendations may be formulated, and if necessary, guidelines for their treatment will be revised.
